We are looking to hire a Treasury Officer – Banking and Compliance who will support the compliance and banking deliverables of the finance team. In particular, the role will involve processing and reporting upon screening for all third party partnerships, cash beneficiaries and ad-hoc screening requests from various stakeholders. The role will also have a responsibility for solution seeking, assessing, monitoring and advising on developments within the banking framework that affect the IR Family. Reporting forms the foundation of the finance unit, the role will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports.
The Treasury Officer will capture all compliance requests and provide management a dashboard of regular issues. S/he will identify solutions to improve the legacy information for BAF and CAF. The post holder will provide training to key users on the screening platform and the screening process.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. The candidate will have a good level of general knowledge and awareness of topical financial issues. The post holder will have a proven understanding of restricted and unrestricted reporting, cash flows; management accounts, budgets and yearend financial reporting. The post holder will have strong English communication skills along with a high level of computer literacy, experience using spreadsheets and accounting software.
