Two (2) Research Assistants/Facilitators (1 facilitator will facilitate the discussion with women, youth, and People’s Organization and 1 facilitator will facilitate the discussion with Barangay Disaster Risk and Response Management Council, Municipal Disaster Risk and Response Management Council and project participants involved in vocational and entrepreneurial skills training.) In addition to conducting focus-group discussions, the facilitator will also be required to conduct several key informant interviews.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Facilitator:
- The Facilitator will be performed the following role and responsibility under supervision and coordination from MEAL unit:
- To mobilize project participants in the selected target village for participation in the Focus Group Discussion (FGD)
- To mobilize project participants and other stakeholders in the selected target village for participation in Key Informant Interviews (KIIs)
- To play the role as facilitator and notetaker of FGD
- To play the role as interviewer and notetaker of KII
- Finalize the documentation of Focus Group Discussion and KII
Person Specification:
The consultant should have the following background:
- Proven knowledge in local language for Maguindanaon and Tagalog
- Knowledge and experience in working with Peacebuilding initiatives and conflict resolution field, DRR and livelihood is an advantage
- Knowledge and experiences in qualitative data collection
- Strong capacity in critical analysis and providing recommendation
- Be resident in the proposed provinces
- High proficiency in Maguindanao and/or Tagalog and English (speaking, reading, and writing);
- Ability to work in a team;
- Willingness and ability to travel to the field; knowledge of culture and geographical areas is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills; communicates openly, exercises tact, and respects views of others.
- Be able to work under the time pressure and independently
- Willingness to follow IRW’s norms, values and policies without compromising personal beliefs and principles.
